Senior JD(U) leaders today said that Nitish Kumar did not inform or consult with the party before taking the decision to join hands with the BJP.
The chief of the party's Kerala unit, M.P. Veerendra Kumar, a Rajya Sabha member, told reporters in Delhi that he was even ready to quit the Upper House to pursue his fight against "fascist forces".
JD(U) today dubbed Tuesday's meeting between Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his deputy Tejashwi Yadav as routine.
Talking to India TV , JD(U) spokesperson Ajay Alok said that his party is still of the opinion that Tejashwi must clarify his position in public with concrete proof in this matter.
"Serious allegations have been made against Tejashwi Yadav and even CBI has named him in the FIR. He should have resigned himself," Manjhi said.
JD(U) today asked the RJD to place facts before the public to dispel graft charges against Tejashwi Yadav.
