Another Jamia Milia Islamia student in New Delhi on Wednesday filed public interest litigation (PIL) in the Delhi High Court seeking Rs 1 crore compensation over alleged police brutality on campus on December 15.
Jamia students clashed with Delhi Police on Monday after being stopped by security forces near Holy Family Hospital in Okhla. The Jamia Coordination Committee has called a protest march against CAA, NRC and NPR from Jamia to Parliament.
