An anti-terrorism court in Pakistan has indicted the chief of the banned Jamaatud Dawa (JuD), Hafiz Saeed, and other JuD leaders in another terror financing case registered against them by the Counterterrorism Department (CTD), Gujranwala, the media reported.
A senior government official told PTI on Tuesday that the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) had objected the Pakistani government’s allocation of Rs 180 crore for running the JuD and FIF schools across the country.
The Imran Khan-led government has also announced the freezing of accounts and seizure of assets linked to organisations banned by the UN Security Council.
