Besides Goa, four other states -- Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Manipur will go to polls early next year.
After a grand inauguration of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi, as many as nine Chief Ministers of the BJP-ruled states arrived in Ayodhya today to offer prayers at the Ram Janmabhoomi temple.

Entire Uttar Pradesh has been divided into areas and three top leaders have been assigned two areas each for the polls. Nadda has been assigned the areas of Gorakhpur and Kanpur.
In today's meeting, the party leadership is expected to discuss BJP's upcoming programmes, campaigns, and strategy to strengthen the party and work at the ground level in the poll-bound state.
The BJP's national executive meeting, which should be normally held once in three months according to the party's constitution, was held for the first time since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic last year.
India has achieved the target of 100 crore Covid vaccinations in less than 10 months. BJP said that this is an unprecedented achievement in the field of health.
Official sources said the party's campaign for the assembly elections will come up for extensive discussion in the meeting.
The man has been identified as Lakhbir Singh, a resident of village Cheema Khurd in Tarn Taran district of Punjab.
JP Nadda said, "Within 2-4 days, 100 cr vaccinations will be over which is world's largest vaccination program taking place in India. Approximately, 17.5 lakh vaccine doses have been given in Manipur. I congratulate CM N Biren Singh for this."
Earlier on Saturday, while addressing a public rally at Manipur's Bishnupur, he called the state the "gateway for Atmanirbhar Bharat".
