As per the agreement, JSW Group, which also owns Indian Super League side Bengaluru FC, has pledged a sponsor amount of Rs 1 crore to the IOA.
The statement further read that according to the terms and conditions of the sponsorship deal, MPL will pay a total of Rs 8 crore to IOA.

In the hearing conducted through video conferencing, the bench said if anyone is aggrieved by the non-grant of recognition, they can move the court.

The campaign is a part of IOA's recent adoption of its new identity, marking 100 years of Indian athletes' participation at the Olympic Games.
On June 24, the Delhi High Court had directed the sports ministry to revoke the recognition of 54 NSFs on a PIL filed by activist-lawyer Rahul Mehra. The ministry later de-recognised three more to take the total to 57.
With the pandemic making a physical meeting difficult to conduct, Batra had sent letters intimating the formation of the new committees for approval to the EC members to make for the lack of an online voting mechanism.
On Thursday, the Sports Ministry -- acting on the direction of the Delhi High Court -- provisionally withdrew the annual recognition granted to 54 NSFs.

IOA treasurer Anandeshwar Pandey said that they will consider suspending sponsorship with China's 'Li Ning' for player-kits.
In separate letters to IOC President Thomas Bach, IOA vice-presidents Sudhanshu Mittal and Adile Sumariwalla spoke for and against Narinder Batra respectively.
The report further says that the IOC also confirmed that the guidelines, which were released in January, still remains in place for Tokyo Olympics despite it being postponed till next year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
