The cancellations by the two budget carriers, which operate more than 1,200 flights daily on average, may significantly disrupt the summer schedule.
Yesterday, IndiGo and GoAir had together cancelled over 65 flights due to the grounding of their 11 aircraft by the country's aviation watchdog DGCA on Monday.
IndiGo carries about 40 per cent of domestic flyers, while GoAir has a market share of around 10 per cent.
The decision comes hours after an A320 neo aircraft of IndiGo suffered engine failure mid-air and made an emergency landing at Ahmedabad airport.
SC had on Friday rejected IndiGo's plea challenging a Delhi High Court order to shift one-third of its Terminal 1 operations to Terminal 2 of Indira Gandhi International Airport.
