Gangwal said the board has now approved a new related-party transaction policy and to also close an open issue if the Articles of Association are amended at the company's upcoming annual general meeting (AGM) to increase the board size to 10 directors.
On its part, IndiGo said that there is no change in the airline's web check-in practice.
However, an IndiGo spokesperson said there was no tyre burst and the aircraft did not make an emergency landing.

Rejecting the claims by Dr Saurabh Rai, IndiGo said that he was offloaded because of “unruly behaviour” and using words like “hijack”.
"IndiGo flight 6E 7117 operated by an ATR (aircraft) from Tirupati to Hyderabad suffered a tyre burst while landing at Hyderabad Airport. The 72 passengers and one infant and four crew members are safe," IndiGo said.
In yet another incident bringing embarrassment to the IndiGo Airlines, its ground staff manhandled and dragged a passenger at the Delhi Airport on October 15.
The Gurgaon headquartered aviation firm, with its fleet of 131 Airbus, A320 family aircraft, operates 907 daily flights connecting 44 destinations.
