Two more Indians on board a quarantined cruise ship off Japan have tested positive for the novel coronavirus even as India assured that it will provide all possible assistance to its nationals on the ship to return home after they test negative in the final coronavirus tests that would begin on Monday, the Indian Embassy said on Sunday.
While talking on suspected coronavirus inmates at the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) facility at Chhawla camp in New Delhi, spokesperson Vivek Pandey informed that if the final samples will be found negative, then they will be sent home by next week.
An unspecified number of Indians were among the nearly 3,000 passengers and crew members on board a cruise ship quarantined off Japan due to diagnosis of coronavirus cases, the Indian Embassy in Tokyo said on Monday.
About 1,021 deaths of Indian nationals between 2014-2018 was recorded in Bahrain while 2,932 deaths were recorded in Kuwait.
According to sources, the Baghlan governor has already begun talks with the Taliban officials regarding the release of the Indian nationals.
