India, shocked by the ruling, has pledged to explore all legal options in the case. The most recent hearing took place on December 1, 2023, with the next scheduled for December 7, 2023.
The Ministry of External Affairs, in its latest advisory, asked to refrain from using inter-state travel by road. Also, it asked Indian nationals living in Myanmar to register with the Embassy of India, Yangon by filling up the emergency form.
