Indian Coast Guard (ICG) intercepted the fishing vessel ‘Jay Malhar’ and apprehended its five-man crew for illegal diesel smuggling off the Maharashtra coast. Approximately five tonnes of unaccounted diesel, valued at around Rs 27 lakh, was seized, along with a small quantity of banned narcotics.
