Senior commanders of Indian and Chinese armies held a fresh round of high-level talks on Saturday to take forward the disengagement process after both sides completed the withdrawal of troops and military hardware from the North and South banks of Pangong lake in eastern Ladakh, official sources said on Friday.
The ninth round of Corps Commander-level talks between India and China began today, with a focus on ways to move forward on the long-negotiated disengagement process in eastern Ladakh, according to official sources. The military talks were held at the Moldo border point on the Chinese side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh. India and China will hold the seventh round of Corps Commander-level talks to discuss de-escalation at the Line of Actual Control (LAC), at Chushul in Eastern Ladakh. The meeting will begin 12 noon onward.

The talks will continue to take place in future as India continues to push China to get back to April-May status, asking its troops to de-escalate at friction points.
