The rainfall is expected to measure between 1-3 cm per hour, indicating a significant spell that may impact the region temporarily. Residents in these areas are advised to take necessary precautions and stay updated with local weather forecasts to avoid any inconvenience.
Considering the incessant torrential rains, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Red Alert in Changlang, Namsai, Lohit, Lower Dibang Valley, East Siang, and Lower Siang districts. It has also predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall over the next few days.
