Mumbai Police arrested them from Sewri area in the central part of the city. Police also recovered their Aadhaar cards and PAN cards, which they had procured on the basis of fake documents.
At least 60 foreigners were detained in Greater Noida for staying illegally in the area. According to a statement by a police spokesperson, some of the foreign detainees have escaped the police custody, while a probe in the case is underway. The number of detainees that have escaped the police custody in Greater Noida is yet not ascertained.
