The reasons are not confirmed why these once-friends decided to play the ignoring game with each other at IFFI 2017.
S Durga Director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, whose film was not screened at the 48th IFFI despite his best efforts, said that the incident has proved how those in power can go to any extent to destroy something they don't like.

The recent development on the public screening of the film has left its director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan disappointed.
The Sanal Kumar Sasidharan film was dropped from the screening schedule of the 48th International Film Festival of India, along with another film 'Nude', triggering controversy.
"It's my first time at IFFI and I'm really excited about performing there...I've heard such great things about the festival and I look forward to the experience," Sidharth said in a statement.
Overruling the recommendation of the 13-member jury, the I&B ministry pulled out S Durga and Marathi movie Nude from the festival, which will continue till November 28.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be honoured with the Indian Film Personality of the Year Award at the event, while Canadian director Atom Egoyan will receive Lifetime Achievement Award.
After Sujoy Ghosh, another jury member, Apurva Asrani has stepped down from this post.
"S Durga" director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan and "Nude" director Ravi Jadhav said they are shocked and disappointed by the decision to drop the films from the Panorama section.
The 48th edition of IFFI will be held from November 20 to 28.
