The fourth generation of the i20 comes with both petrol and diesel powertrains and would compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Tata Motors Altroz and Toyota Glanza.
The auto sector has been one of the worst-hit sectors by the COVID-19 lockdown that has disrupted business as usual since the last week of March. Most of the major car and bike manufacturers in India had to bear major losses because of practically non-existent sales in the months of April and May.
