Hyderabad minor rape case: The accused have been identified as Syed Naimath Ahmed, aged 26 years, and Syed Ravish Ahmed Mehdi, aged 20 years.
As one of the teenage boys accused in the incident is alleged to be a son of a leader wielding power, the opposition BJP and Congress stepped up their demand for a CBI probe.
Sources said that students from Class 11 and 12, who were from influential families, were allegedly involved in the incident. A legislator's son might also be a part of the group.

The Supreme Court said it is inclined to appoint a judge to independently inquire the extra-judicial killing of four accused of the rape and murder of a veterinarian in Hyderabad.
The Supreme Court on Monday agreed to consider granting hearing on Wednesday on one of the PILs seeking an SIT probe into the killing of four men, arrested on charge of gangrape and murder of a veterinarian in Telangana, by police in an alleged encounter.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar tweeted on Sunday that WhatsApp has blocked Cyberabad Police's WhatsApp number 9490617444. "We are now using 7901114100 for receiving citizens' grievances temporarily," he added.
