Himachal Pradesh election 2022: While the BJP is looking to retain power, Congress would aim to regain its lost ground in the hill state. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party has also projected itself as the third option for the first time in the well-established bipolar political landscape of the state.
Himachal Pradesh elections: Fatehpur is one of the 68 constituencies in the Himachal Pradesh legislative assembly. It is considered among those seats where the Congress party has often dominated.
Himachal Pradesh assembly elections: Addressing a public rally in Chamba, BJP president JP Nadda claimed that the people of the hill state have decided to change the "rivaaj" (tradition) not "raj" (power) in the polls.
Elections will be held in the state of Himachal Pradesh on November 12. However, the counting of votes will take place on December 8.
Congress on Saturday decided that All India Congress Committee (AICC) national secretaries will be posted in every district of the state to strengthen the organization before the elections.
