After the first round of counting, Vishal Nehriya of the BJP is leading with 1,187 votes over his nearest rival Vijay Inder Karan (1543 votes) of the Congress in Dharamshala.
Pachhad saw nearly 73 per cent voting as per preliminary reports, whereas 65.39 per cent of eligible voters exercised their franchise in Dharamshala, he added.
About forty percent polling was recorded till 1 pm for two assembly seats in Himachal Pradesh, a state election official said on Monday.
