While several states of India are claiming of running out of COVID-19 vaccine doses despite Centre's claim of "no scarcity anywhere", Karnataka Health Minister K Sudhakar said the state has enough doses of vaccines.
As the state is witnessing a sudden spike, COVID-19 vaccination is need of the hour. In this regard Chhattisgarh Health Minister TS Singh Deo said that Chhattisgarh comes in the top list among the states to vaccinate its people and Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan should correct his statement that people are not getting vaccines.
With the surge in COVID-19 cases, states across the country are facing shortage of vaccines. In this regard, Jharkhand Health Minister, Banna Gupta expressed concern and said, "We have requested Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan to immediately provide us around 10 lakh vaccines for first dose".
Delhi's Health Minister Satyendar Jain on April 08 informed that vaccination drive is going well in Delhi and have stock for 4 to 5 days. "The vaccination drive is going well in Delhi. We received some vaccines yesterday. We have stock for 4-5 days. We have demanded more and we will get it," said Jain.
