Without taking any names, Arun Jaitley said the Congress leadership is falling prey to the anarchist forces.
Hardik Patel also exuded confidence that the people of Gujarat will vote against the BJP in the upcoming polls.
Declaring his support to Congress, Hardik Patel said that the party has accepted the demand of giving reservation to his community in a special category.
Questioning the work done by BJP governments in the state over the past 22 years for the Patidars, Kapil Sibal said they had only filed sedition cases against the PAAS leader.
"I have not seen a more foolish person than Hardik. He is a young boy. He may have got some love from the community but they are going to perish soon," the Gujarat Deputy CM said.
"We are not openly extending support to Congress, but we will fight BJP. So directly or indirectly, there will be support to Congress", Patel said while addressing the media.
Speaking at a public rally at Tragad village near Dholka town, an hour's drive from Ahmedabad, Hardik Patel said that he "did not seek a single ticket from any party."
The Congress on Monday night released a second list of 13 candidates for the first phase of Gujarat elections scheduled on December 9.
Hardik Patel's supporters targeted the Congress saying PAAS had not been given a proper representation in the seat-sharing formula.
