Mumbai terror attack mastermind and Jamat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed was on Thursday sentenced to 10 years in jail by an anti-terrorism court in Pakistan in two more terror cases.
US President Donald Trump on Wednesday claimed credit for the arrest of Hafiz Saeed by Pakistan government, saying great pressure has been exerted over the last two years to find him even as India is yet to officially react to Islamabad's action.
Soon after his release, Hafiz Saeed had vowed to continue his fight to liberate Kashmir.
JuD has already been declared as a foreign terrorist organisation by the US in June 2014. Hafiz Saeed carries a reward of USD 10 million announced by the US for his role in terror activities.
