The Great Indian bustard (Ardeotis nigriceps) is a large bird with a horizontal body found in the Indian subcontinent. The birth of rare bird by using the latest technology in Rajasthan will pave the way for conservating other birds which are on the verge of extinction.
A bench headed by NGT Chairperson Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel constituted a joint committee to prepare the action plan for implementation of suggestions submitted by the Wildlife Institute of India (WII) over the issue.
