The UP CM is in action mode after a woman riding a pillion on a bike was groped and harassed by a group of men in a waterlogged area in Lucknow's Gomti Nagar on July 31, prompting police to arrest 16 people and take action against eight officials, including the DCP.
Lucknow harassment case: The accused have been booked under sections 191(2) (rioting) and 74 (assault or use of criminal force with intent to outrage modesty) and other relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
In Lucknow, a woman riding a pillion on a motorcycle was harassed by a group of men in a waterlogged area, leading to the arrest of four individuals and disciplinary action against eight police officials, including the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP).
