During her maiden interaction with TMC leaders in Goa, Mamata Banerjee accused BJP of defacing her posters in the state and said people of India will deface the saffron party.
Mamata Banerjee is scheduled to visit Goa on Friday, ahead of the state Assembly polls due next year. The TMC has already announced its decision to contest the state Assembly elections.
During the visit, Gandhi would address a convention of Congress workers at SPM Stadium in Bambolim near here and also participate in various other party-level events scheduled that day, Chodankar told PTI.
PM Modi noted the infrastructural development in rural Goa will help in increasing the income of farmers, livestock farmers and fishermen.
The vice president's official visit will end on Oct 30, a spokesperson of Goa govt said.
On Friday, the TMC had appointed Goa's former chief minister Luizinho Faleiro as its vice president less than a month after his joining the party.
