An 18-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison after failing to clear the Madhya Pradesh HSC exams, police said on Tuesday.
The girl, a 10th standard student, hanged herself from a ceiling fan on Friday by using her mother's saree, the police said.
Sweta Kumari Rajput, who hailed from Bihar's Madhubani district, had been taking coaching from the last two and a half years to clear the entrance exam for admission to medical colleges.
