Reports say that there was a small leak in the scrubber region of Porus Laboratories which led to ammonia gas leakage in the adjacent company Brandix India Apparel.
Locals said smell of gas was coming from the said building for the last couple of days and that they had filed an online complaint regarding this to IGL.
The fire brigade officials after getting the information rushed to spot and controlled leakage and brought the situation under control.
