In the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections, 8 of total 42 Lok Sabha seats of West Bengal went to poll on May 13. These constituencies included, Baharampur, Krishnanagar, Ranaghat, Bardhaman – Purba, Bardhaman – Durgapur, Asansol, Bolpur, Birbhum.
While the cause of explosion is still unclear, the investigation has been started by the local police. Four fatalities have been reported, including 3 minors.
