The Ford India will continue to operate its powertrain manufacturing facility by leasing back the land and buildings of the powertrain manufacturing plant from Tata Passenger Electric.
Ford India had started its plant in Sanand industrial area after signing a state support agreement (SSA) with the Gujarat government in 2011.
