India’s food delivery giant Zomato anticipates its core meal delivery business to grow at an annual rate of 30 per cent over the next 5 years. A top executive highlighted that the recent public listing of rival Swiggy, backed by SoftBank, has provided a significant boost to the industry.
This service offers quick food delivery from select restaurants within a 2 km radius, focusing on dishes like burgers, beverages, breakfast items, and biryani that require minimal preparation time. Additionally, "Bolt" includes ready-to-pack options like ice cream, sweets, and snacks.
The introduction of Zomato for Enterprise comes nearly a week after the company shut down its 'Intercity Legends' service.
'Zomato Legends' offered iconic dishes from 10 cities to other parts of the country. The company had earlier put on hold the service and restarted it in July with a few tweaks.
