Goa CM sanctions COVID relief to affected people from unorganised sectors
News | September 23, 2021 11:29 ISTGoa Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant on September 22 distributed COVID-19 relief to marginalised and unorganised sectors and ex-gratia financial assistance to the family of the victims of coronavirus. He said, "We've started distributing Rs 2 lakh each to families with low income and who lost a family member due to COVID-19. We are also giving Rs 5,000/person who suffered a loss in their traditional business due to COVID. This will benefit nearly 50,000 people."
