A woman labourer was killed and two others were injured when a boiler of a factory exploded in neighbouring Shamli district, police said on Saturday.
Four people, including an employee of IMC Group and three labourers, were killed after the private company's storage tank containing 1,700 tonnes of methanol caught fire following an explosion at 1.30 pm on Monday.
The fire department said that the blaze broke out about 5:45 pm in an electric fan factory in Gazipur, near the Bangladeshi capital and that when it was finally put out 10 bodies were found in the charred ruins of the establishment, the Efe news reported.
Twenty two years later, on Sunday morning, December 8, 2019, another fire broke out in a factory in a crowded market in West Delhi's Rani Jhansi Road area killing 43 so far, making it Delhi's second worst fire incident since Uphaar tragedy.
Both the heads of the country took Twitter to send their messages and prayers for the recovery of those suffered injuries.

Police said that, prima facie, the fire started due to an electrical short circuit around 6.30 am at the Raja Park factory in Sultanpuri, which made shoe and sandal uppers.

Eight to ten people are suspected to be trapped at the site of fire and building collapse, police said.
