Users have complained about the old messages resurfacing on their Facebook Messenger and the issue was first raised by users on Twitter.
The outage happened after Facebook unveiled a new update to Messenger that allowed users to delete sent messages under 10 minutes.
With the new 'Remove for Everyone' feature on Facebook Messenger, users will have 10 minutes time limit to delete the message. This feature, has been rolled out for Lithuania, Bolivia, Poland, and Colombia, for now.
There is no specific date announced by Facebook on the final availability of the feature.
