India-China relations: S Jaishankar said that the big problem is the border situation and Indian military has been holding on to the ground.
Spoke to students of @iimb_official on #AtmanirbharBharat and 8 years of the Modi Government, he tweeted, adding that their energy and enthusiasm give confidence that New India will indeed become a reality.
"The charges that the Indo-Pacific derives from Cold War thinking are motivated and false. They are made by the very quarters who seek to freeze the status quo of 1945. And deny the integration that has happened in the last two decades," EAM said.
"The forthcoming visit of EAM to Bangladesh may be seen in the context of frequent bilateral high-level visits and exchanges particularly as both sides commemorate 50 yrs of establishment of diplomatic ties," MEA said.
Speaking at a private conclave in the national capital, Jaishankar said, "When we are looking at India at 75, it's not just India at 75, we are also looking another 25 years ahead."
Jaishankar said while the issue of human rights was not discussed during the current meeting, it has come up in the past.

During Friday's meeting, the Iranian President stressed the importance of close cooperation and coordination between the two countries in developing peace and stability in the region.
In a virtual address at a meeting of East Asia Summit, EAM Jaishankar also highlighted the growing convergence of approaches on Indo-Pacific region among different members of the grouping.
