K Kavitha ED summon: It is alleged that the Delhi government's excise policy for 2021-22 to grant licences to liquor traders allowed cartelisation and favoured certain dealers who had paid bribes for it, a charge strongly refuted by the ruling Aam Aadmi Party in the national capital.
Kavitha had previously been questioned multiple times at the ED headquarters in March and had to submit her mobile phones to the federal agency as part of the investigation.

The court has allowed Sisodia to meet his wife for one day, either at the residence or at the hospital between 10am to 5pm.
Delhi: Special Secretary (Vigilance) YVVJ Rajshekhar, who was removed by the Delhi government alleged that "sensitive" files related to the excise policy and the chief minister's residence renovation were destroyed or tampered with.
The CBI has alleged in its supplementary chargesheet that former Delhi Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia had destroyed a draft cabinet note related to the new excise policy.
