The Indian contingent had a busy day in Hangzhou as it added eight medals to its tally which reached 22 on Day 4 of the 19th Asian Games. Seven out of those eight medals came in shooting with the likes of Ashi Chouksey, Sift Kaur Samra scripting history.
Indian contingent will be in action on Day 4 in search of more medals as shooters, chess players, sailors and wushu stars will be in action to fight for a podium finish. The equestrian stars who won in team event will be in action in their individual events while women's boxers take center stage.
Team India added three medals to their tally on Day 3 of the ongoing 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou including a historic gold in equestrian dressage team event as the athletes in shooting, boxing, hockey and squash progressed with the other two medals coming through sailors Neha Thakur and Eabad Ali.
The actor, who is also a professional equestrian, bagged the silver medal in the national championship.
