Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday arrived in Paris where he will hold talks with newly-elected French President Emmanuel Macron on a host of key issues.
“We will succeed because we are fully committed. Because wherever we live, whoever we are, we all share the same responsibility. Make our planet great again,” Macron told Trump.
Macron’s presidency began with a visit to troops wounded in overseas combat — a reminder of France’s large global military presence and role in fighting extremists from Syria to Africa.
Laurent Fabius, President of the Constitutional Council, presided the ceremony at the Elysee Palace here, the BBC reported.

The US President Donald Trump has congratulated Emmanuel Macron on his victory in the French presidential elections and said he looks forward to working with him.
Prime Minister Bernard Cazeneuve confirmed that Macron (39) has won the presidential election.
France will vote in a presidential runoff between centrist Emmanuel Macron and far-right candidate Marine Le Pen today.
