A major accident was avoided when a bird hit the plane during takeoff on an Air Asia flight from Lucknow to Kolkata, prompting an emergency landing and arrangements to transfer the passengers to another flight.
The incident happened at around 11 am on Sunday at Lucknow airport when the flight was on the runway and was heading for takeoff.
