The incident took place at Mahua Jhala village, about 42 km from district headquarters, while construction work of a septic tank was underway, Bijawar police station in-charge Mukesh Singh Thakur said.
"The incident occurred at about 9.15 am in Salempur Ghankar village when Dileep Jadon (32) and his daughter Sapna were fencing their field with iron wires to protect crops from stray cattle.
The puppies were killed and dumped in plastic bags in the parking area of the hospital. The incident had caused a massive public outcry.
On the day of the incident, the boy was taking bath and suddenly his roommate heard a shout. He and the hotel staff entered the bathroom from the ventilation window, as the door was locked from inside, and they found the victim unconscious.
The incident happened at Sadar Bazar Chowk in Nadirganj when the man was stealing electricity from an overhead power line near his ration shop, the police officer said.
Commenting on the incident, police said some people were setting up a Ganesh pandal at a place close to Anasar and Nobel Market in the city, while the incident occurred.
The incident took place on Wednesday when Saligram Maurya (50) and his son Bittu (18) were irrigating the field behind the power substation on the Aonla-Bareilly highway, they said.
