The 35 constituencies are spread across four districts. Among these, six are in Malda, eleven in Birbhum, eleven in Murshidabad and seven in Kolkata.
68.46% voter turnout has been recorded till 3.37 pm in West Bengal Assembly elections, says Election Commission of India.
A huge team of police personnel and Central Armed Police Forces jawans were rushed to the area following the incident, the officer said.
