According to the National Center for Seismology, the tremors were felt at around 8:28 today.
Katra earthquake: "An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter Scale hit 81km ENE of Katra, Jammu and Kashmir at around 2.20 am today," the National Centre for Seismology said in a tweet.
Earthquake in Delhi-NCR: The tremors were felt for almost 20 seconds.
According to Japan Meteorological Agency, the epicenter of the quake was off the coast of the town of Urakawa, and no tsunami warning had been issued.

The depth of the earthquake was 4 km (2.49 miles), EMSC said.
The quake hit at 14:42 (local time) at a depth of 60 km, according to European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
Jammu and Kashmir earthquake: "Earthquake of Magnitude:4.1, Occurred on 30-04-2023, 05:15:34 IST, Lat: 35.06 & Long: 74.49, Depth: 5 Km, Location: Jammu and Kashmir, India," National Center for Seismology said in a tweet.
The earthquake was followed by at least 5 aftershocks measuring magnitude between 5.8 and 4.6, it said. After an initial tsunami alert, Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysical Agency lifted the warning hours after the quake.
According to the National Center for Seismology, the latitude was -29.95 and the Longitude was -178.02 while the depth of the earthquake was noted to be 10 km at the Kermadec Islands of New Zealand.
No reports of loss of life or damage to property have been received yet.
The earthquake was recorded in the sea 96 km north of Tuban around 3:25 pm IST.
