An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale struck several cities in Pakistan on Tuesday evening, including Pakistan occupied Kashmir's (PoK) Mirpur. As per the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the earthquake struck at a location 173 km north-west of Lahore. The tremors were also felt in parts of North India.
Mild earthquake jolted Maharashtra's Satara region on Thursday morning. The quake measuring 4.8 on the Richter Scale rattled Satara district of Maharashtra at around 7:47 am in the morning with of depth was 10 km
The epicentre of the quake was about 40 kilometres southeast of Along, and 180 kilometres southwest of the state capital Itanagar.
According to the IMD, the earthquake occurred at 4.19 p.m and lasted for 27 seconds.
Earthquake in Delhi-NCR, Haryana: Tremors were felt in parts of Delhi-NCR, Haryana and adjoining regions on Sunday afternoon. The magnitude measured on Richter Scale is said to be 4, which means mild tremors were experienced.
