Earlier, the cabinet expansion was expected on Tuesday, but Maharashtra imbroglio was one of the factor that delayed the induction of ministers, sources said. On being asked whether two more MLAs from the JJP will get the cabinet berth, Chautala said, "This is an internal matter of our party."

On his part, Dushyant said his party has decided to support the BJP "for the stability of the government in Haryana".

Asserting that neither the BJP or the Congress is untouchable for him, Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) leader Dushyant Chautala said on Friday that he will support any party which agrees on a common minimum programme with his organisation.
Notably, Chautala had floated the JJP in December last year after a vertical split in the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) following a feud in the Chautala clan. The INLD was decimated in the polls and could manage to win only one seat.
"JJP has believed in strengthening the BSP, its leadership, workers and supporters and gave 40 seats (for contesting polls) to it," Chautala tweeted. "Our intention has been to give political power and self-confidence to 'Bahujan Samaj' and will continue to do so."
According to the BSP, the agreement reached with Dushyant Chautala for the upcoming Assembly elections in Haryana is inappropriate in terms of the proposed seat-sharing formula, BSP president Mayawati said in a tweet in Hindi, adding that the tie-up is called off.
The Jannayak Janata Party and Bahujan Samaj Party on Sunday announced that they would contest the upcoming assembly elections in Haryana in the alliance. The BSP will contest on 50 seats while the JJP on 40 in the 90 member state assembly polls due later this year, JJP leader Dushyant Chautala along with BSP General Secretary Satish Chandra Mishra announced the alliance at a press conference.
