"Justice Sreeniwas Harish Kumar dismissed the bail petitions of Ragini, Sanjana and co-accused Prashant Ranka who are under judicial custody since mid-September for their alleged involvement in use of banned drugs," a city crime branch police official told reporters, quoting the prosecutor.

Actress Kangana Ranaut has sought a compensation of Rs 2 crore from Mumbai's municipal agency for the "illegal" demolition of her office in Mumbai. Ranaut had approached the Bombay High Court while the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) was demolitioning the office at Manikarnika Films, her movie production house in Bandra, after which the court ordered the BMC to stop demolishing it.
