Drugs case: Tollywood actress Shwetha Kumari sent in judicial custody

A Mumbai court granted bail to comedian Bharti Singh. She was in custody at Byculla Jail in connection with drug case. Bharti and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa were sent to judicial custody in drug case.
Bharti Singh was arrested with her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa for alleged possession and consumption of banned drugs.
Bharti Singh was arrested today as almost 86.50 gms of banned drug (Marijuana), was recovered from Bharti Singh's home.
The special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance (NDPS) Act court observed that there was no "substantial material" against Bartels. Senior counsel Aabad Ponda and advocate Subhash Jadhav who appeared for Bartels argued that the NCB did not find anything incriminating in its search at his residence here on November 11.
Since yesterday, there were rumours that Karishma has resigned from KWAN Talent Management Company. On Wednesday, the company issued an official statement to confirm the development.
"It is true that Karishma Prakash has gone untraceable after being summoned for questioning," said an NCB official related to the probe.
NCB conducted a raid in Mumbai’s Andheri area where peddlers were also arrested.
Amyra Dastur has refuted the drug accusations on her by actress Luviena Lodh. Amyra is also considering the legal route.
