Devananda, a six-year-old girl, died due to drowning, revealed the report of the primary autopsy done at the Medical College hospital here on Friday. The girl went missing from her house near Kollam on Thursday morning.
Pictures of the body have been circulated to police stations across the city to find out if the boy had been reported missing by his parents, the officer said.
The mishap took place on Monday at Bagnachcha waterfall in Badkapahar village, around 150 km from neighbouring Korba district, Kelhari police station house officer (SHO) Janak Ram Kurre said.
