Dr Reddys Laboratories Ltd, which soft-launched Russia's COVID-19 vaccine, Sputnik V on May 14 has expanded the pilot project to over 50 other cities and towns in the country.
Dr Reddy’s Laboratories recently received regulatory approvals to conduct human trials of a Covid-19 vaccine candidate developed by a Russian research institute.
Shares of Dr Reddy's Laboratories jumped nearly 10 per cent in early trade on Friday after the company said it has settled a litigation with a unit of Bristol Myers Squibb related to patents for Revlimid (lenalidomide) capsules, used in the treatment of cancer. Continuing its rally for the fourth consecutive day, the stock gained 9.86 per cent to Rs 5,302.85 -- its record high level -- on the BSE.
Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd said the companys NDA (new drug application) Elyxyb ((celecoxib oral solution 25 mg/mL) has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration.
To date, Dr. Reddy's has not received any reports of adverse events related to the recall of Dr. Reddy's Ranitidine products. The recall includes all quantities in the US that are within expiry," the company said in a statement.
Hyderabad, Mar 15 : K Anji Reddy, the founder and Chairman of nation's second-largest drugmaker Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd, died today.Reddy, who founded DRL in 1984, was ailing for some time, a company statement said.
