India's Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRAI) plans a major upgrade to the Do Not Disturb (DND) app in 2024, aiming to fix bugs causing issues with unwanted calls, especially on Android. The goal is a user-friendly app by March 2024, with efforts to make it work better on iPhones too.
More than 95% of mobile subscribers have registered on the DND (Do Not Disturb) list of TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India). They further stated that even after setting the DND list, they still get several unwanted calls from different phone numbers.
The tower will be 20 metres tall and 4.5 metres in diameter, and will be able to improve air quality in an area of 1 square kilometre, they added.
