Amid the water crisis in Delhi, Minister Atishi on Sunday said that if the Centre does not intervene in the situation, it will not improve and the BJP should talk to its government in Haryana and get more water for Delhi.
Atishi had written to Delhi LG claiming that the death that took place in Farsh Bazar area over using common water tap was due to the shortage of water supply. The Delhi LG has hit back at the Delhi government and accused Atishi of "drawing conclusions" when the investigation is underway.
Around 60 per cent of the network in Malviya Nagar and 80 per cent in Vasant Vihar had to be changed. Most of the leakages are found in house-service connections.
