7th Pay Commission: CM Mohan Yadav congratulated the employees of the state and said there are two occasions Diwali and foundation day of Madhya Pradesh. "It is our responsibility to take care of the employees. 46% dearness allowance has been approved and has been made effective since July 1, 2023."
Diwali Bonus: The BMC has about 92,000 employees and officials on its payrolls. The Diwali bonus this time is 11.53 per cent higher compared to the Rs 26,000 paid in 2023.

7th Pay Commission: After the DA hike is announced, the salary of the central government employee, who has a basic salary of around Rs 18,000 per month, will increase in the range of Rs 540-720 per month, effective from July 1, 2024.
7th Pay Commission: Reports suggest the central government is likely to announce a 3 per cent hike in dearness allowance this time for Central government employees. If the Centre makes the announcement, the DA will increase from 50 per cent to 53 per cent of the basic pay.
The Centre announced bonus pertaining to year 2019-2020 which will benefit 30 lakh non-gazetted employees. The total financial implication of this will be Rs 3,737 crore. The bonus will be given in a single installment, through Direct Benefit Transfer, before Vijayadashami.
