Padikkal finished ahead of Kohli and AB de Villiers in the list of highest run-getters for RCB this year.
The Karnataka lad also bagged the Emerging Player of the Season award.
AB de Villiers joined his Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate Devdutt Padikkal and KL Rahul to score five half-centuries.
Padikkal achieved the feat during the IPL 2020 game against Delhi Capitals at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Opener Padikkal, 20, has been a revelation this Indian Premier League (IPL) season for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), scoring 422 runs at an average of 32.46.
With 343 runs in 11 matches, Padikkal (20) is RCB's second-highest run-scorer this season behind captain Virat Kohli and has consistently given them good starts at the top of the order
